St George’s Cathedral, a century old, is one of the world’s most magnificent places of worship. This was an exceptionally controversial move during a time of great segregation and prejudice. For this reason, St George’s Cathedral became known as “The People’s Cathedral”, and today, is still recognised for its forward-thinking policies.
