Whilst honouring its reputation for serving a selection of the finest West Coast and Namibian oysters (shucked to order!), the new Twankey menu reflects the revised summer opening hours, with freshly baked croissants, pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt and muesli served between 7am and 11am along with a range of Barista coffee’s available throughout the day and evening from a blend specially created by TRUTH Artisan roastery.

The all-day menu, available Monday to Friday from noon to 10pm, Saturdays from 2 to 10pm features a selection of tapas style small plates, (ideal for one person or order a few to share!) includes favourites such as Jalapeno Poppers filled with Cream Cheese and fried, Crispy Calamari flavoured with Chilli, Wild Pepper and served on a bed of leaves, and our famous Guacamole served chunky with corn chips. Main meals include Beef & Guinness Pie served with Mash, Stone Grilled Chicken Breast served with Shoestring Fries, Curry of The Day served with Rice, Paratha and traditional Sambals, along with lighter options which include Soup of the Day, Roast Butternut Salad served with Pumpkin Seeds, Feta and a Balsamic Glaze to our specially created Cheese and/or Meat Boards served with pickles, preserves and fresh bread.

Along with a fine selection of local wines & bubble’s and the freshest Guinness served in Cape Town, TheTwankey Barhas now joined a growing list of bars specialising in locally produced craft beers and ciders from some of the countries finest brewers including Devils Peak, Darling Brew, Jack Black Brewing Co, Robsons, Boston Breweries & Everson’s. With four beers available on-tap and an even wider range available by the bottle, TheTwankey Baris fast gaining a reputation for serving Good Coffee, Great Food, Craft Brew and Fine Wines in an elegant but casual space.
