Taj Hotel and Veritas Wine Awards have a superb evening of Indian cuisine and top South African Wines in store for Cape Town.
Foodies and wine enthusiasts will have a chance to enjoy a variety of double gold and gold Veritas medallists, perfectly paired with mouth watering cuisine prepared by our very own Harpreet Kaur, executive chef at the Bombay Brasserie.
The Veritas Awards have earned a reputation as one of South Africa’s most authoritative and credible competitions for market ready wines. Starting out as the first National Bottled Wine Show in South Africa in 1990, it was renamed the Veritas Awards from 1991. After two decades the Veritas emblem has become a symbol for top quality wines.
The Veritas Awards are now the longest running and most prestigious wine competition in South Africa. The Veritas website also features a comprehensive list of results dating back to the start of the competition and visitors are able to follow the success stories of the hundreds of participating wineries since the inception of the Veritas Awards.
The tantalising 5 course masterpiece will feature a wonderful selection of dishes that originate from various regions in India, prepared with South African ingredients.
The menu will also be accompanied by no less than six superb wines, including some of the country’s best whites, reds and dessert wines.
The Taj Cape Town offers stylish accommodation in Cape Town with the best in Indian cuisine at the Bombay Brasserie and contemporary fare at Mint Restaurant.
