Celebrating its 17th year, the home improvement and lifestyle exhibition Homermakers Expo 2012 will gather the finest home improvement product and service providers at the Cape Town International Convention centre.
Homemakers Expo is the largest and most comprehensive home improvement and lifestyle exhibition with 350 stands and over 80 different product categories. The theme for this year’s expo is “HOME-it” which boasts enough trendsetting and innovative ideas to turn houses into homes by creating a personal style and unique identity for homeowners.
Featured areas at the Homemakers expo include the décor and accessories area for collections of contemporary and cutting edge style ideas, an Audiovision Pavilion offering a substantial range of the most advanced new-generation digital home entertainment systems, a selection of the Cape’s finest wines, great cheeses, olives and other gourmet goodies at the d’VINE Life area, as well as Future of Design area which will celebrate the innovative “upcycled” designs of South Africa’s leading local talent.
A variety of artists including fine artists, designers, ceramicists, fashion designers and mosaic artists have also been invited to present pieces for the exciting Clock Art Project. Visitors will be able to view and bid on these pieces for the duration of the Expo, and all funds raised will be donated to charity.
The 2012 Homemakers Expo will take place from Thursday 23 August until Sunday 26 August 2012 from 10am to 8pm on Thursday to Saturday, and from 10am to 6pm on Sunday at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
