Christmas is a time for giving, a time to reflect on whether you have been naughty or nice over the last year and a time for joyous celebration. It’s a time for family, for friends and for loved ones to get together in the unifying spirit of global cheer.
It’s our second Christmas in the heart of Cape Town and we have put together a range of festive season celebrations for all those looking to get a little more out of the giving season.
The ultimate in festive sophistication, the Bombay Brasserie will be treating guests to the finest in speciality Indian cuisine on Christmas Eve with a festive five-course tasting menu.
Christmas Day can be celebrated with a fabulous Christmas feast with complimentary festive cocktail on arrival. A visit from Santa is expected with gifts for the children. This family-style platter-to-plate luncheon is accompanied by the seductive strumming of a background guitar.
Mint Restaurant will be offering an a la carte menu featuring Christmas specials for young and old as it invites guests to celebrate Christmas Eve with a stylish get-together in elegantly casual surroundings. Christmas Carols, Eggnog and piano entertainment round out the evening.
A jazz duo will set just the right tone at our famous festive buffet on Christmas Day. A complimentary festive cocktail is provided on arrival and the younger guests will be delighted by a visit from Santa.
For some fabulous family fun, join us on the Day of Goodwill at Mint, where in addition to the a la carte menu and a chocolate fountain, guests will be entertained by the Amy Biehl Marimba Band. For the young ones, a special kiddies menu and a supervised gingerbread men and gelato decorating play area will be provided.
The Taj Cape Town provides luxury accommodation in Cape Town and has a range of celebrations to suit your style this festive season as well as private venues and luxury catering to offer friends, fans and guests the ultimate luxury of the Taj Cape Town experience.
