Long Street is not only one of Cape Town’s oldest streets it is also one of its most well-known. It measures approximately 3,8 kilometres (2,4 miles) and stretches along 20 of Cape Town’s city blocks.

Long Street is home to an amazing selection of experiences these include:

  • an  interesting collection of eclectic shops – boutiques, antique, furniture etc
  • a series diverse culinary adventures – Indian, North African, Mexican, Indonesian, South African and more
  • places of historical interest and significance – the Palm Tree Mosque (one of Cape Town’s oldest mosques), the Old Slave Church (built in 1804) and the Long Street Baths (now over a hundred years old)
  • Cape Town’s energetic and thriving nightlife.
